Independent Publishers Group (IPG) has officially announced the addition of five distinct publishers to its global and North American sales and distribution programs. The new partnerships, set to take effect this summer, reflect IPG’s continued commitment to bringing a diverse array of independent voices, educational materials, and international literature to the broader book trade.
Joining IPG’s roster are publishers specializing in inclusive children’s books, educational resources, business and behavioral sciences, and translated global literature.

The expansion reinforces IPG’s long-standing role as a leading distributor for independent presses. Founded in 1971 as the first organization dedicated to marketing indie titles to the book trade, IPG has grown consistently by providing print and e-book distribution, digital printing, and comprehensive marketing support.
"With consistent growth year over year, IPG’s success has come from supporting and encouraging the growth of its publishing partners in the United States and worldwide," the company stated.
IPG is owned by Chicago Review Press, Inc., which acquired the distributor in 1987, and operates alongside Chicago-based independent publishers Chicago Review Press and Triumph Books.
