Book Manufacturing Mastered Returns September 17th

On September 17^th at Thomson Reuters in Times Square, New York City, an event will bring together publishers, manufacturers, printers, binders, and other industry folk that make a printed book.

This event, Book Manufacturing Mastered, presents three separate panels: printers; publishers and retail; along with discussion panels to have serious conversation with other industry leaders. Marco Boer, I.T. Strategies kicks off the day long event, giving an overview of where the industry is today, and ends with a networking reception and vendor displays.

The conference supports collaboration across all stages of publishing. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange work and ideas, discuss the challenges they face, and help the industry work together as one. These ending sessions are small groups, opportunities to discuss with peers how to work together to succeed. The ending reception is an excellent professional network opportunity.

This all-day event starts at 9 am and runs until 6 pm. The agenda is full of great opportunities, with panels on multiple topics featuring multiple speakers and leaders. Many other sponsors will also help the event run smoothly and will be open to connecting with attendees.

Publishers at any stage are invited, but printers and suppliers must be Book Manufacturers’ Institute members; publisher registration is $199 and printer/supplier registration is $399. This event also coincides with a celebration the day before, as the Book Industry Study Group celebrates its 50^th anniversary and hosts the BISG@50: Book Publishing Next Forum & Anniversary Celebration.  This event will celebrate the group's history and highlight the collaboration, standards, and shared solutions across publishing.
